Molly Kelley – Writer

Loving God and being in love with Him are two very different things. I discovered this distinction on the brink of turning sixteen.

Since then, God has been faithful to walk me down every road in life: UCSB for college, studying abroad in Spain, Australia and Scotland for missions, youth ministry, women’s ministry, teaching English and Girls Bible at Calvary Chapel High School, and getting married and becoming a mom along the way! Every adventure’s been different, but Jesus has always stayed the same. My heart and passion is to encourage others to fall in love with Him, to believe He is the best there is, and to hold on tightly to the promises He gives.

Since having my son nearly three years ago, I have needed to cling to these promises in a much deeper way. I have the autoimmune disease Rheumatoid Arthritis, and it became extremely aggressive during and after my pregnancy. It has been a tough handful of years, but God has taught me much in my time of pain. He has given me compassion for those who suffer, a new understanding of His grace, and an opportunity for faith in a season bent on stealing it away.

I’m excited to be a part of Marked Ministry because at the core of who I am, I am a woman who loves to share. So, instead of grabbing coffee with you, I will sip on mine and write, and you can sip on yours and read. It will be a beautiful time of connecting which is one of my favorite things. I look forward to sharing life with you, the beautiful, the messy, and everything in between.
