A Note from the Editor: March, 2016

I love buffets. Huh? You think. Although it seems totally random, stick with me here. If you’re a lover of food, a fan of sampling, you will get my drift. From the appetizers, to the entrée’s, to my favorite, dessert, you can create your own delicious platter. I also love a good box of chocolate. What? I know, I know, stick with me. The coconut, the caramel, the dark, the milky, the nougat filled centers, yummy? Right! You get to open your own treasure trove of assorted chocolaty treats and taste a variety of flavors that melt in your mouth. But my love for variety doesn’t stop there, one word, Costco. Okay, now you lost me. Hold on, my point is on the way. Think about it, you stroll down the isle and get to pick up a little pie sliver or some trail mix or those little pizzas. Then there’s gnocchi or an awesome salad you love so much that you pick it up for dinner! I am telling you, shopping is at its zenith here! They even have perfume samples, mp3 clips, and movie previews. Ah, we all love a good dose of sampling.

So here is my point: this is what the team and I are giving you this March. Think of the magazine as an issue you can sample to your heart’s delight section by section. From sweet devotions, to fun fashion segments, to heartfelt interviews, to deep discussions. From different cultures to different eras. From different ages to different styles. These articles are samples you can enjoy!

The Bible says it this way in Psalm 34:8, “Taste and see that the Lord is good!” That’s exactly our prayer! Nothing would delight our heart more than to see you taste and see God’s goodness in the variety of this issue. Every article and image contains a different aspect of who He is throughout the different stories being told.

So, in the words of Lumière, the candlestick in Beauty and the Beast, “Be our Guest!” and taste and see what the Lord wants to give you. It’s all free (and who doesn’t like a good freebie!), and may you find that it is indeed good.

Blessings,

Sarah
