I met Jesus when I was 15 years old, and he has filled the years since then with deepening hope, peace, and joy. My life hasn’t always been filled with rainbows and butterflies, but it has always been good because God is good, and he is sovereign over all.
I grew up in the military, so the question “where are you from?” has always been a difficult one. I’m pretty much from all over the place, although my family and I lived on Oahu for the longest time. My parents and youngest brother currently live in small-town Illinois while my twin sister, brother, and I attend Biola University.
At Biola, I am studying Journalism and Integrated Media, and am in the Torrey Honors Program. I also compete on Biola’s varsity swim team! But overall, I desire to use the skills that God has given me to bring his message of powerful hope to the world.
If I’m not in the pool, or buried in a book, you can usually find me staring at some trees.
