Originally from a small town in Colorado, I was a competitive gymnast for 16 years and continued my athletics into college. I am on my school’s Acrobatic and Tumbling teams and it’s (flipping) awesome. I think that dogs are hands down God’s greatest gift to man and I definitely describe each one as “the cutest dog I have seen in my entire life.”
I have just recently given my whole life to God. I grew up in a Christian family, but it took me until my first semester at APU to make my faith truly my own and I am so glad I did. I have thrown away a difficult past and recreated my life in a way that completely glorifies God. I found my love for journalism, copy editing, and photography on my high school’s yearbook staff during my freshman year. Now, as a double major in Journalism and Communication Studies at Azusa Pacific University, I am living out my passion and following my dreams down the glorious path that God has created for me. I love telling people’s stories, learning all there is to know, and capturing a thousand words in the single snap of a camera.
