A Note From the Editor: April, 2017

The grey, wintry days are almost behind us and spring has arrived. When you think about spring what comes to mind? Spring break from school? Spring cleaning as a time to kick that clutter out? Spring allergies from all those blooming flowers? For many of us, we forget that it’s Easter. For some people they think of Easter as a day to go to park BBQs, eat candy, dye eggs and visit the Easter bunny at the mall, but for us at Marked Ministry, we know what the true meaning of Easter is. It’s about the death and resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ. Christians believe, according to Scripture, that Jesus came back to life and was raised from the dead, three days after his death on the cross. As part of the Easter season, the death of Jesus Christ by crucifixion is commemorated on Good Friday, always the Friday just before Easter. Through His death, burial, and resurrection, Jesus paid the penalty for sin, thus purchasing for all who believe in Him eternal life in Christ Jesus. This is our hope! So, this issue we will be celebrating Jesus’ death and resurrection (known as Passion Week), and also wanted you to enjoy a palette of colorful selections of spring articles for your reading pleasure.

Wishing you a Happy Resurrection Day!
