The Beauty of Real Women: Photo Shoot

A Look Back at MM Females

By Sarah Komisky

“Charm and grace are deceptive, and [superficial] beauty is vain, But a woman who fears the Lord [reverently worshiping, obeying, serving, and trusting Him with awe-filled respect], she shall be praised.”

– Proverbs 31:30 (Amplified)

A part of the DNA of Marked Ministry has always been the desire to feature real women of all different ages, ethnicities, styles, shapes, looks, and backgrounds that all have one thing in common – a deep love for God. Over the past few years, we have had the amazing opportunity to do just that. We have desired to showcase the real beauty they possess and shine a spotlight on it. Over the years, we have brainstormed new ideas featuring women who don’t fit the stereotypical cover-girl mode. We seek to uncover the beauty that is all their own and highlight the things that the world may even call unlovely.  These women are women just like you and me. Some are plus size. Some have tattoos. Others have scars. They aren’t photo shopped. This is the reality of who they are. Raw and utterly stunning. We believe the world needs to see their beauty. As Proverbs states it, these women who love God radiate a beauty that is even deeper; one that is within. We believe this beauty should be celebrated. Here is a look back of some of our favorite shots as we give honor to Marked women.
