Meet Marissa…

Hi Guys! My name is Marissa and I am joining the Marked Ministry team as well as my best friend, Alyssa, and my sister, Kailyn. We are so excited to help tweens like you grow in God’s word. This month’s topic is God’s love and I would like to explain what God’s love means to me. I believe that God’s love is ultimately what He did for us that we could not do ourselves, which was to send His only son to die on the cross for our sins so that we would be washed clean. This is what it says in John 3:16—“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son to die on the cross for our sins.” This is what it says in the scriptures, but here is how I read it: For God so loved YOU that He sent His only son to die on the cross. I just feel so warm inside when I think of all of God’s love for me and you. He blesses you and your family because He love us. God is love and that is why we love. Another good verse from the Bible that talks about God’s love is 1 John 4:19 which says, “We love because he first loved us.” I think that God is just so wonderful and full of kindness and generosity. I pray that you will go out into the world and share with others the love of God!

Meet Alyssa…

Hi guys! Hope you are having a wonderfully blessed day! As you may or may not know, this month’s topic is “God’s Love.” When I think of God’s love, I think of the word grace. God loves us so much and He understands that we make mistakes, so He gives us grace. Grace means forgiving somebody when they definitely don’t deserve it.

Before I wrote this, I prayed and read a part of the Bible. But, before I read the Bible, I prayed that I will receive something I need. You will never believe what I opened it up to!! It was about Jesus’ love for us! This is one of the little signs of love that God gives me.

Meet Kailyn…

Hello Marked Ministry tweens! My sister Marissa, my best friend, Alyssa, and I are the new authors for this tween section. I just love how I got this new opportunity to share God’s word. It’s like God’s love for us. He gives us new opportunities every day because He loves us! Even if we fail or stumble into sin, God still loves us. The Bible says His love is taller than the tallest mountains and deeper than the deepest valleys. God’s love means He can forgive our greatest sins because He sent His only begotten son down to earth to die for our wrongdoings. BECAUSE HE LOVED US! Not because we did something good and He wanted to give us a treat. He loved us and forgave us for what we did. Nobody is perfect, which is why He is an all forgiving God. So, go out into the world and show God’s light to other people!
