How-To: Your Beginning Guide to Life Organization

By Ashley Gomez

One thing I have had to consider over the past few months is how exactly I prioritize and organize what I do in my everyday life. Now, for most people that’s pretty easy. But, for those trying to figure out what their routine is, or have a consistently changing schedule, this can be a difficult task. So, you may find yourself asking, how can this be done? The answer is simpler than you think; you simply have to figure out where you want to start.

You can look towards things like fitness and your diet, your spiritual life, or perhaps you are more set on the physical aspect of organization. The possibilities are endless! Regardless of where you start, the one thing you want to do is to set a goal. Make it something flexible, but also something you’ll definitely need to include in your day. This could be as simple as reading your Bible twice a day, every other day, or calling a friend or relative to catch up every week. Regardless of the goal, this can help you find a routine and continue to adjust and adapt to an adult life. Wherever you find yourself on the organization spectrum, there is always a place to start. And if you don’t know where to start, that’s okay. With the internet at our fingers, we have the ability to find a place to start that suits us and our various lifestyles.

In my own research, I have found that sometimes it’s best to get help from others who have been where you are. Blogs are a great resource for this type of organization. There’s a real person behind those words you read and their experiences can help you become a more organized and focused person just like they did!
