Looking for a special devotion to center your focus on Jesus this holiday season? Here are four of my favorite picks for free devotions and Bible reading plans that you can find online now. Enjoy and let’s get started.
1. YouVersion
This one is my absolute favorite because it’s so eclectic! There are variety of daily devotions for the holiday season (last year I did one from Jon Foreman). They are always so much fun because not only can you do them alone but invite friends to join as well!
This site has a devotion for advent every day of the December calendar written by awesome authors like Max Lucado. Such a great way to center your heart for the season.
3. Desiring God
I love this calendar of scriptures readings that focus in the Gospels. To get a full account of the Christmas story this is a great plan to go with complimentary snippets from pastor and author, John Piper.
This non-profit organization has created amazing daily devotions for the holidays that you can read online. An extra bonus, I always appreciate the takeaway prayer and thoughts for the day. Just an extra treat for the holidays!
