Fresh Christmas Music Vibes 2020 – Playlist

By Cloei

Christmas time is in the air, and the festive holiday music, bright colorful decorations, and remembrance of when Jesus Christ was born always gets me super excited! One of the best ways to get myself into the spirit is to start listening to all kinds of Christmas music. Of course, the classics are always a great way to hone into that holiday spirit, but it’s also refreshing to tap into some of the newer 2020 Christmas vibes! Since it can be time-consuming and hard to find when you’re needing a fresh tune, I have given some 2020 Christmas song ideas sorted by genre in hopes that they will help everyone get into the Christmas spirit! It’s never too early to start jamming to all kinds of holiday celebration music!

“We Need Christmas” by Maddie & Tae– These girls are two best friends with beautiful harmonies that give off a “Dixie Chick” vibe. I love this song because it’s original and so heartfelt for this season that we are all finding ourselves in.

“The First Noel” by Lady A- This song is of course a beautiful classic, but when sung by Lady A, it’s even prettier with their harmonies and country flare.

“Let There Be Peace” by Carrie Underwood- This original is so powerful and speaks to us all right now as to how we need to all come back together as people and as a nation with peace and love.

“Here To Stay” by Hannah Kerr- This is such a worshipful song and always reminds me of God’s promises!

“Go Tell It on the Mountain” by Zach Williams- This version of “Go Tell It on the Mountain” is one of my favs. Zach Williams is a Christian artist with a raspy country voice that I think is so cool and relatable.

“Good News” by Unspoken- This song is so jazzy and cool! I love the uniqueness of the song and how it’s unlike any other Christmas song!

“I Believe In Santa” by Meghan Trainor- This song is just fun and lighthearted and makes you want to get up and dance.

“Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree” by Kacy Musgraves and Camila Cabello- This is a country/pop collaboration with a mix of Kacy and Camila! It has a unique sound and I think it’s super fun!

“It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” by Meghan Trainor- I had to throw in another Meghan Trainor song because her newest album is so fun and catchy! This remake is classic but current!

I really hope these songs give you lots of good vibes to walk with a freshened faith and spirit this Christmas season.
