“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”

– 2 Corinthians 5:17

I’ve spent my whole life creating an identity for myself as an artist, wife, mother, friend, business owner, and leader—accomplishing one thing after another, and adding these labels to my well-crafted identity. However, there is only one identity that truly matters: daughter of the King. We are each a new creation, made in our heavenly Father’s image. And while it’s true that I am an artist, it’s really just my way of serving and worshiping Him. Though I’ve had success as an artist, more and more, art is simply becoming my offering rather than my identity.

Think of some of the ways you identify yourself, all the things you call yourself. These could be adjectives to describe your character or the roles you play in life. List them below.
