I Would Have Despaired

Broken relationships are hard to fix, restore, reconnect, and in our human capacity,
impossible to redeem. Like a perfect and clear crystal that has been damaged, we will
always see a scratch, a crack, and ultimately, pieces and splinters of what once was
whole. How can something like this be brought to its original state, and become even better
than before? I would have indeed despaired, had I not believed that I would see the
goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. (Psalm 27:13) For the Devil comes to steal kill
and destroy (John 10:10), but the Lord comes to redeem (Psalm 107:2).

I Would Have Despaired

hope in hopelessness
to believe and endure
that what has been broken
can be healed and restored.
dear Christian take courage
and trust the Lord
His promise, His goodness
His Word, His Love.
