How-To: Shop for Pink Products 2017

By Sarah Komisky

According to statistics, 1 in 8 women will develop invasive breast cancer in their lifetime. And, in that statistic, some of us will either be directly or indirectly affected by this disease making October such a significant month. As this month marks the annual international health campaign to raise awareness and funds for research (known as Breast Cancer Awareness Month), we at Marked Ministry wanted to get involved to help the cause. So, whether you’re shopping for fun fall beauty products, fitness gear for a 5k benefiting breast cancer awareness, or are in need of a gift to encourage someone in the fight, take a look at this affordable list of pink products that give back. Ready? Let’s get shopping!

This $15 knitted mico-fiber cloth is great to keep skin looking clean and soft, even removing mascara all with a simple use of water! But, the best part of all is that all proceeds go to Living Beyond Breast Cancer (a national education and support group).

Honest Hazel Eye Gels

As girls, we all want to find ways to help correct those dark circles, iron out those fine lines, or just hydrate that delicate under-eye area. The good news is that I found a product that does that and more! At just $12, these small gels made of natural ingredients such as cactus collagen, target those needy areas and give them a boost. Also, 5% (percent)  of your product purchase will be donated to your chosen charity through the BeautyKind Foundation.

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion

Everyone needs a good moisturizer to get through the cooler months and Clinique’s Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion is a great investment at $39. Not only does the iconic yellow lotion keep dry to combo skin supple, but it also comes in a limited edition jumbo size bottle. For every purchase, Cosbar.com will give $10 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (and you also get an awesome pink BCA key ring!)

Bob Siemon Cancer Awareness Necklace

What I love about Bob Siemon’s Cancer Awareness Necklace at songear.com is that it is a great reminder that Jesus identifies and is at the center of our suffering. The cross cut-out in the center of the pink ribbon is a great reminder of this making this pendent (pendant) at $9.99 a great gift for someone who needs to know Jesus loves them. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds will support breast cancer awareness and prevention.

Soft & Dri Deodorant

No, this is not an error on the list. Seriously, this is a great pick. Here’s why. This deodorant is aluminum free, gentle on skin, and contains odor protectors that come in a variety of fresh scents. Also, proceeds will support the Play for P.I.N.K organization and keep you dry as you get fit this October.
