Shine For Jesus

Hi everyone!

I hope you are all having a great day. Summer is almost here, which means that it is a great time to shine our light to Jesus.  Most teens think that summer is all about fun and relaxation, but it is also time for Jesus, because we are going to be having a lot of free time and it wouldn’t hurt to take 30 minutes to an hour to read your Bible or pray. Summer is a great time for Jesus because a lot of things can happen during summer, whether these things are god or bad. We should know that Jesus is always there for us, so we should always give him some of our time to appreciate the things he has done for us.  While it is summer, it can also be a good idea to do one of those 30 day lists where you can make a list of ideas you can do for Jesus in those 30 days.

For example, you can read your Bible, pray, be kind to everyone around you, share the word to people who might need it, etc.  Also, going to church is a great way to show our love because that’s His house and by going there it would mean Him coming into our lives. We need Jesus in our life because without him we wouldn’t have an eternity of happiness and our lives would be completely different. Some of you may think,” What has God done for me?”, or ” My life sucks, God isn’t real!”.  But He’s always there for you. Even when life is hard, He is there to comfort us and be there for us all the way until we die. We need to show how much we appreciate Him for all his love He has given us. If your friends try to get you to not pray or read your Bible, make sure they know who He is and what He is doing in their lives as well. Make sure you pray and talk to him like you would to your friends. Don’t worry, He is listening to every word of it.  I love you all and I hope you have a great summer. God bless you all.
