My formal name is Tammy Courson, but “Tambo” is a nickname that has stuck with me since I was a kid. Once my husband began using it many years ago, it’s been with me for life and I love it.

I’ve been blessed to travel to different parts of the world and I’ve shared glimpses of this on my website.

I live in my favorite little town of Jacksonville, Oregon.

I’m TAMBO to my husband Jon, who I’ve been married to since 1985

I’m MOMBO to 5 kids plus their spouses

I’m GRAMBO to 5

You touch any of my loved ones and I become RAMBO!

I’m a believer in looking at all the beauty God has created in this world and looking to that Creator to find strength, direction, and any and everything I’m lacking.

One of my all time favorite and “go-to” portions in the Bible is found in Philippians:

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

— Philippians 4:6-8
