How I Am Unique

My name is Lillian. Most people call me “Lilly.” I am unique because I love science, babysitting, cooking, baking, singing, dancing, reading, trying new things, and sewing. I also love God and the Bible. My name is also unique. It is unique because it is two names put together to make one. My mom picked my name because she always liked the name. She loves that it means purity and beauty.

I also like that my name is mentioned in Matthew 6:28 from the Bible. Matthew 6:28 says, “Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin.” This verse means that if God can love a tiny flower and take care of it, He can love and take care of you. This verse reminds me that God takes care of me. I like my name because there is a flower called “Lily.” I think I am like a Lily because it is pretty and colorful, and I like to dress colorfully. Some people do not like their name and want to change it. I think they should not change their name because God made them the way they are.
