Wonder Woman’s Armor and Weaponry
Compared with the Full Armor of God in Ephesians Chapter 6

God sent His Son Jesus Christ to die as a sacrifice for our sins on the cross.  Jesus rose in victory over death and now lives and makes intercession for us at the right hand of God.  God loves us and has created each of us for a purpose, to be used by Him in powerful ways. All God asks of us is that we believe Him, and trust Him by faith.

If this is you beloved, then all the notes below in red are promises to you from God!

The Whole Armor of God: Ephesians 6:10-18 NLT  

A final word: Be strong with the Lord’s mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies and tricks of the Devil.  For we are not fighting against people made of flesh and blood, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against those mighty powers of darkness who rule this world, and against wicked spirits in heavenly realms.  Use every piece of God’s armor to resist the enemy in the time of evil, so that after the battle you will still be standing firm.  Stand your ground putting on the sturdy belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness.  For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News, so that you will be fully prepared.  In every battle you will need faith as your shield to stop the fiery arrows aimed at you by Satan.  Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray at all times and on every occasion in the power of the Holy Spirit.  Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all Christians everywhere.   

• Wonder Woman (WW): Superhuman strength, speed, durability, reflexes and longevity.  The Christian:  I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.  Philippians 4:13.    If we depend on our own power we will fail; but if we depend on God’s strength, we can be victorious in what he calls us to do.
• By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received this by knowing Him, the One who called us to Himself…  2 Peter 1:3
• WW: She can fly. The Christian:  But those who wait on the Lord will find new strength. They will fly high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary.  They will walk and not faint.  Isaiah 40:31 NLT.  When we wait on the Lord in prayer with patient expectation, God will strengthen us to rise above life’s difficulties.   He will give us His grace in our times of need as we completely trust in Him.
• WW: Master of hand to hand combat (trained by Goddess of combat Athena, Ares & Hippolyta) The Christian:  Psalm 18: 30, 32, 34-35, 39.   God’s way is perfect.  All the Lords promises prove true.  He is a shield to all who look to him for protection…   God arms me with strength and makes my way perfect…   (He prepares me and) He trains my hands for battle; he strengthens my arm to draw a bronze bow…  You (Lord) have armed me with strength for the battle… 
• We can never go wrong responding to life in God’s ways because His perfect way trains us to fight for Godliness throughout our entire life.
• WW: Bracelets of Victory, forged from the shield of the mythological god Zeus able to absorb the impact of incoming attacks, allowing Wonder Woman to not only deflect automatic weapon fire, energy blasts and other projectile weaponry, but also absorb the forces from a long fall.
• Originally, the bracelets were used to control her incredible power, and when taken off, she would lose her full strength.
• The Christian: Ephesians 6:16 NLT In every battle you will need faith as your shield to stop the fiery arrows aimed at you by Satan.
• Our Faith in Christ will give us overcoming power. This faith in Christ is the secret of our daily continuing victory.  When we don’t respond to life directed by God’s Word, our lives will lose their strength.
• WW: The (glowing) Lasso of Truth, she wears her magical glowing lasso coiled at her hip. When used by her, it compels her target to tell the truth as well as dispel illusions to reveal the truth and restore memories to those who have lost them.  It can even restore the mind to sanity and protect people from magical attacks. The Lasso of Truth has also been used to force someone bound by it to unquestionably obey the one wielding the lasso.  All the while wrangling up bad guys and/or whip them into the ground!
• The Christian: The helmet of salvation: Put on salvation as your helmet Ephesians 6:17a.  NLT  
• Satan wants to make us doubt God, Jesus and our salvation. The helmet protects our mind from doubting God’s saving work for us. LABC
• The Belt of Truth: Stand your ground putting on the sturdy belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness.  Ephesians 6:14. NLT Satan fights with lies, and sometimes his lies sound like truth; but only believers have God’s truth, which can defeat Satan’s lies.  LABC
• WW: Royal Tiara, A symbol of her royalty (as Princess of Paradise Island). Used as a boomerang type weapon that returns to her after the damage to her opponent has been done.  Her story reveals her Tiara was originally given to her in outer space out of gratitude for helping an alien world.
• The Christian: Will be rewarded the Bible says!   1Peter 5:4 NLT And when the head shepherd comes, your reward will be a never-ending share in his glory and honor. 
• God blesses people who patiently endure testing. Afterword they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him.  James 1:12 NLT      
• 2 Timothy 4:8 And now the prize awaits me, the crown of righteousness that the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me on that great day of his return.  And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his glorious return.    
• Jesus has promised us that when we endure the trials of today we have a crown of life waiting for us in Heaven.
• WW: Earrings, Magnetized by Desira, Queen of the planet Venus; giving her supernatural ability to hear the voice of the Queen and allowing them to communicate with each other over any distance.
• The Christian: Although we don’t have special earrings from God like Wonder Woman, we are able to communicate with God at any time night or day, and hear the Lords small still voice comforting us and instructing and telling us what to do.   Isaiah 30:21 NLT You will hear a voice behind you saying, “This is the way.  Follow it, whether it turns to the right or to the left.”
• Psalm 121:3b He (Jesus) who guards you never sleeps.
• WW: Sandals of Hermes, Taken from Greek mythology, where Hermes was the fleet-footed messenger of the gods.  The Christian:  For shoes put on the peace that comes from the Good News, so that you will be fully prepared.  Ephesians 6:15 NLT
• WW: Sword, Is strongly connected to her Amazonian heritage. The sword is engraved and it reads “Life is killing life all the time and so the goddess kills herself in the sacrifice of her own animal”.  The primary magical property of her sword is its ability to work on invulnerable beings-including Superman.  I am the good shepherd.  The good shepherd (Jesus) lays down his life for the sheep.  John 10:11 NLT
• This scripture is a beautiful picture of the sacrifice of Jesus.
• The Christian: Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies and tricks of the devil… and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.  6: 11,17b NLT  
• The Sword of the Spirit given in the description of the whole armor of God is the only offensive weapon So for the Christian it is imperative that you study and learn the word of God   
• For the word of God is full of living power. It is sharper than the sharpest knife.  Cutting deep into our innermost thoughts and desires.  It exposes us for what we really are.  Nothing in all creation can hide from him.  Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes.  This is God to whom we must explain all that we have done.  Hebrews 4:12-13 NLT
• Shield and Protective Breast Plate, These, bestowed upon her from various gods of Olympus, to be used as oppositional and protective weaponry. She is able to use anything in hand as a weapon should the need arise.
• The Christian: Body Armor of God: Use:    Satan often attacks our heart- the seat of our emotions, self-worth and trust.  God’s righteousness is the body armor that protects our heart and ensures his approval.  He approves of us because he loves us.
• Trained at a young age, Although Wonder Woman was certainly gifted by God with natural talent, we see through her story that her talent’s and victories are largely the result of a lifetime of hard work and perseverance.
• The Christian: Proverbs 22 ;6  Train a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not turn from it. 
• When you have been trained in godliness by learning and obeying Gods’ instruction through the Bible, you will be strengthen and ready to live a victorious, godly life.
• Christ Commended those in the Ephesian church for their hard work… and their perseverance

Beloved, Like Wonder Woman, you have a unique God given message to deliver, and like Deborah, you have a unique song to write and sing and like Jochebed you have a unique love to bestow.  This message, this song, and this act of love have been entrusted exclusively to the one and only …you!

This is God’s Word for you today from Joshua 1:9 (The Message):  Haven’t I commanded you?  Strength! Courage!  Don’t be timid; don’t get discouraged.  God, your God, is with you every step you take!
